Castable for steel ladle
Alumina-spinel castables(LQLC-90 and LQLC-85) mainly consist of fused white corundum, sintered tabular corundum and pure synthesized spinel.
The castables are highly resistant to slag corrosion and penetration when used as linings in continuous casting ladles.
High alumina-spinel (LQLC-80 and LQLC-90) are composed of sintered special grate bauxide and synthesied spinel from natural raw materials. The castables have strong resistance to corrosion, erosion and thermal shock. The service life of high alumina-magnesia castable LQLC -90 can be used for ladles within capacity of over 100tons, LQLC-80 for ladles with capactity between 50t to 90t and LQLC -75 for ladles below 50t.
