2) Features description of candle product molds making by liquid silicone rubber:
candle product molds making by liquid silicone rubber is white or red flowing liquid with general hardness of 22-50A°after curing. Molding silicon rubber is a kind elastic silicon rubber mold which features with resistance to deformation, high-temperature, acid-alkali and expansion as well as high reproduction times, good tensile strength, tear strength and elongation. Silicone rubber is the most suitable for small products or fine and precision products which is difficult to demould. This silicone rubber is one of the products with the highest use level in the production of craftwork gifts and the shrinkage less than 0.2%.
3) Operations of candle product molds making by liquid silicone rubber :
candle product molds making by liquid silicone rubber is composed of two components. Component A is white flowing liquid while component B is the curing agent.
Steps:
a. take silicone rubber of 100g and add 2% curing agent for mixing evenly.
b. After the silicone rubber and the curing agent are completely mixed, put the silicon into a vacuum machine for deairing to remove the bubbles.
c. After deaired, pouring the liquid silicone rubber into the product to be duplicated or into the mold frame.
Note1: liquid silicone rubber is used for pouring or brushing technique. That is to say,
firstly fix the product or sole model to be duplicated onto a plane plate,
then enclose the plane frame with wooden plates to prevent the leakage of the silicon rubber,
thirdly mix the silicone rubber and the curing agent evenly according to the mixing ratio of 100 : 2 and pour them onto the sole model,at last brush evenly with a wooden plate or a brush, and fill up the mold frame with gypsum after the silicone rubber is dried.
Note 2: If the customer wants to make large products and large size molds, the mold should be made of silicon rubber with high hardness. On the contrary, if the mold with fine and precision patterns, it should be made of silicon with low hardness. The amount of the curing agent depends on the actual requirements of the customer. If molds requiring fast drying and demould, more curing agent is needed; contrarily, if molds requiring slower drying and demold, less curing agent is needed.
Note3: our company does not recommend you to add silicone oil. If a special soft silicon mold or fine detailed and complex patterns products are required, 5%-10% silicone oil can be added to soften the mold for easy demould.)
4)Storage and Precautions of candle product molds making by liquid silicone rubber :

The shelf life of the product is about one year from the date of production. Inspection is required when exceeding the time limited.
