3. Silicone mold rubber Features:
Rubber mold silicone is flowing liquid with hardness of 20--50 shore A after curing with features:
a) Low shrinkage
b)Low viscosity good for pouring mold,easy de-air
c)Excellent tear and tensile strength
d) easy de-mold with mould release agent
e) the curing agent, catalyst for free charge
f) high reproduction times,duplicate times
g) resistance to deformation and high-temperature ,acid-alkali
How to choose the right silicone for mould making
1) The small size products with fine and precision patterns, you should choose soft silicone,about
18--23 shore A easy demould
2) Large size products ,you should shoose hard silicone,then the mold will not deformation.
The amount of the curing agent it is depend on the room temperature and the pot life of the catalyst you need.
Note: Our company does not recommend you to add the silicone oil to reduce the hardness,if a special soft silicone mold or fine details and comlex patterns products you have, add 5% to 10%
silicone oil could be added to soften the mould for easy demould
