[Application]
In recent years, there is a remarkable tendency that D5 is used as one material of cosmetics frequently. That is, the D4, which is the traditional material of cosmetics, tend to be insteaded of D5.Here are the two main reasons as below.
1. From the part of Physiological toxicity, when a certain amount of D4 is accumulated on our body, it is more harmful than D5. Therefore, many countries in west are trying to researching new substitute of D4 in order to reduce harm to our body.
2. Generally speaking,D4 gets to be solidified under -10°C,and will make some liquid material be freezen and sepereated and even result to lose effectiveness. However,D5 will be relatively steady.
3.The advantages of D4 as below.Compared with other PDMS such as D5 and D6, D4 has its own unique physical characters of evaporation and gasification, it is very difficult to find out new substitutes to totally stead of it. In fact, we usually use mixed DMC which are made of D4, D5 and so on.
4. As the raw material of cosmetics, especially solvent, such PDMS as D4 and D5 have very good compatibility with other raw material of cosmetics.

[Precautions]
The mixture of vapor and air is explosive. Fine dispersion can easily form explosive mixture in the air and
static accumulation to ignite. Avoid the fire hazard possibility by grounding, parallel connection or inert gas
protection.
[Packing and storage]
1. 200L iron drum (net weight 200kg/drum) sealed packaging. Stored in cool, dark, ventilated and dry place
away from fire and heat. The storage place temperature should be not higher than 30°C;
2. No mixed storage with oxidants, acids and alkalis. The storage site should be equipped with appropriate
types and quantities of fire-fighting equipments;
3. Prohibit the use of the mechanical equipments and tools that are easy to produce spark in the operation
of this product. Handle gently to avoid spillage caused by container damage.
