Index plungers are used in a wide range of applications for locating, positioning, indexing and positive locking. Index plungers are used in a variety of industries:

Knob: High resilience PA, Matte finish.
Threaded body: Black oxided steel or stainless steel.
Plunger: Black oxided steel or stainless steel.
Applications: Indexing plungers 7200 series are used where positioning operations are required and in those applications where the plunger needs to be locked in the retracted position.
72XX-A: Without rest positions.
72XX-B: With rest positions.
72XX-ST: Made by ack oxided steel.
72XX-SS: Made by stainless steel
72XX-L: With lock nut
Our index plungers 7200 are particularly suited for use in thin walled parts/assemblies - such as electrical enclosures, or sheet metal. indexing plungers 7200 with rest position are used where positioning operations are required and in those applications where the plunger needs to be locked in the retracted position.
7200 are a range of low cost indexing plungers which score highly on small dimensions. Their use should, however be limited to such applications where high precision indexing is not required.stainless steel, thanks to its high resistance to corrosion, allows the application of these indexing plungers on machines and equipment in those sectors where laws or particular hygienic, climatic and environmental factors make it mandatory to use corrosion resistant materials
