Brass is the metal of choice for making most of our decorative jewelry, most of the items we sell are made from the highest quality imported German brass, all are soldered with silver solder and the joints are silver. Raw Brass is great because it is inexpensive and it is not a precious metal so the cost of each piece can be kept down. In addition, it is quite malleable and takes well to intricate designs. It can be used raw in several ways; left natural and it will darken over time but can always be re-polished.
Jewelry made from brass looks nice enough to use raw, however many types of finish are also available. Currently we can do silver plate and gold plate finish on the brass.
