Welded wire mesh reinforcement used as inner structure of ferrocement secondary roof slab for heatproofing on roof.
The reinforcement shall consist of a layer of square wire mesh 3.25mm at 150mm spacing sandwiched by two layers of square wire mesh 1.5mm at 25mm spacing. The wires shall be galvanized with a zinc coating weight 65gm/m2 minimum. The 1.5mm wire shall have a minimum proof stress of 300N/mm2.
